Cause I was invited by two girls to explore some resturant in Chinatown tonight!! Don't take it in a wrong way~ I just feel so happy that I finally have some non-Chinese friends to fool around! But, still, two girls! Antony, my friend, you must be so jealous But actually...if Antony were there, it would be better.

 

Anyway, get back to the story I'm gonna tell.

Hoda's like never be used to Asian food. (OK, I admit that could be my misunderstanding~) But today, she and Alma invited me to explore the Chinatown together, coz they have never done this before! All right, I think I have the responsibility to show them some Chinese cuisine.

 

I picked the resturant, which is quite popular among Canadians. I was convinced with it, since after we entered it, I just realized that I was the only Chinese customer at that time... It's quite difficult to order some food satisfying both of them. One doesn't eat meat but fish, shrimp, and vegetables, while the other claimed she could eat everything except for shrimp, lobbster, nuts and something else I've forgotten already. Finally I got Hoda some noodle and shared a dish of pork and a dish of chicken with Alma. I tried to be "nice" by recommending Hoda to take the vegetables, which was actually put there for decorating the dish. She's acting like wanna punch me...Anyway, those two girls are funny!

 

We spent a lot of time on the chopstick-using competetion. Of course I won it, haha. They said I was showing off. Hmm...kinda!

 

We talked about several topics, like our supervisors(we are from 3 different groups but have group meeting together), the courses offered by Atheletic Center, the annoying undergraduate demoships, the British accent and expecially the accent in London(Hoda was so "angry" on Alma and me, hehe), etc.

 

Anyway, I've learned a lot and enjoyed a lot; not only the English, you know.

 

Got to watch the big competetion between T-Mac and Kobe! It's party time!

Only 3 languages are used in all the posters: English, French, and Chinese. How amazing it is to me! If the broadcasting is relevant to Chinese, it is translated into Chinese broadcasted by standard manderin~

 

I was so tired on the plane that I fell asleep when the plane took off. When I firstly woke up, a kind smile emerged in front of me:"Sir, what would you like to eat?" After looking up the menu, I said "Chicken please". What surprised me is, I was actually charged 5$ for that regular sandwich! International flights provide free meals, while domestic flights do not.
